
Chris Pratt
Born in Virginia, Minnesota, Pratt began his film career with minor roles before securing a starring role in the drama series Everwood (2002–2006). He had his breakthrough role as Andy Dwyer in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation (2009–2015). Pratt also had supporting roles in the action thriller Wanted (2008), the comedy horror Jennifer's Body (2009), the sports biopic Moneyball (2011), the political action thriller Zero Dark Thirty (2012) and the romantic comedy Her (2013). Pratt received global recognition and established himself as a leading actor by portraying Star-Lord in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appearing in a series of superhero films spanning from Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023).
Pratt achieved further critical and commercial success by portraying Owen Grady in the Jurassic World franchise (2015–2022), which consists of three films that have collectively grossed over $3.9 billion worldwide. His other starring roles include the Western action film The Magnificent Seven (2016), the science fiction film Passengers (2016), the military science-fiction action film The Tomorrow War (2021) and the action thriller television series The Terminal List (2022). Pratt has also lent his voice to animated films, including the commercially successful Lego Movie franchise (2014–2019), the box-office underperformer Onward (2020), and the blockbuster films The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023) and The Garfield Movie (2024).
In 2014, Pratt was ranked number two on People's list of the Sexiest Men Alive. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2017. Divorced from actress and podcaster Anna Faris, Pratt has been married to Katherine Schwarzenegger since 2019. He has four children—one with Faris and three with Schwarzenegger. Since February 2020, Pratt has owned the production company Indivisible Productions.
