BiographyWu Chun (Chinese: 吳尊 pronunciation: Woo Choon) born in Goh Kiat Chun, on 10th of October 1979 is a Taiwanese-Bruneian singer, actor, and entrepreneur. He was a member of Fahrenheit, a Taiwanese Mandopop vocal quartet boy band, from its debut in 2005 until June 2011. Wu Chun has been featured in various Taiwanese television series, including Tokyo Juliet (2006), Hanazakarino Kimitachihe (2006), Romantic Princess (2007), Hot Shot (2008), Sunshine Angel also known as Sunny Girl(2011), and Kindaichi Case Files (2012–2013). His film roles include The Butterfly Lovers (2008) and Lady of the Dynasty (2014). He is a prominent figure on Sina Weibo, where he has amassed a significant following.
In 2014, Wu Chun participated in the reality television program Dad is Back alongside his daughter. He later appeared in the Chinese drama Martial Universe in 2018 and featured in another reality TV show, Best Time, with his father, Wu Jing Tian. In early 2020, he was part of the reality series Before Wedding, filmed in his home country of Brunei. The show was widely viewed in China. That same year, a wax figure of Wu Chun was unveiled at Madame Tussauds in Shanghai. Since 2019, he has been associated with Hugo Boss as a brand ambassador in Asia.
Wu Chun has also participated in environmental advocacy. In 2020, he became an ocean protection ambassador for Merlin Entertainments Group China, promoting marine conservation, particularly for Beluga whales. Additionally, he was named a Pangolins Protection Ambassador by the World Wildlife Fund. More recently, he appeared in advertising campaigns for brands such as Dior and La Mer in 2022 and became a representative for IQIYI during the 2023 Australian Open.
