Dubbed as the "Majestic Superstar" by the media, Salvador made her acting debut at age 14 on television in a minor role for It Might Be You (2003), earning her a nomination for Best New TV Personality at the PMPC Star Awards for Television. After playing supporting roles in various films and television shows, she got her first leading role in Nagsimula sa Puso (2009). She gained wider recognition for her roles in Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin (2011) and Ina, Kapatid, Anak (2012). She has since garnered subsequent success and awards for her lead roles in The Legal Wife (2014), Bridges of Love (2015) and FPJ's Ang Probinsyano (2016).
