Firefighters respond to a dramatic boat accident where three people are missing. It will be a demanding and long-lasting action.

The fire brigade respond to what they believe to be a false alarm. In the middle of the dense wooden housing development in Bergen, a young man has fallen asleep with the stove on.

An automatic alarm wakes the firefighters, who think they are just going on a simple routine mission. Then comes the message that it really is on fire.

Firefighters obviously don't hope that there will be a fire, but at the same time they love their job. Even when they have to clean up after a smelly fire.

The fire service goes out to a single-family house that has caught fire. There, they get good help from the lift on the fire truck. But the lift can also be used on happy occasions.

In the middle of the night, people are woken up by what sounds like hundreds of bombs. The firemen approach carefully, because no one knows what is burning.

Once a year, the smoke divers have to go through a difficult test, where the job they love is at stake.

While most people stay inside during the storm, the firefighters have to go out and secure dangerous things that fly. And all the time they fear fire in the dense wooden houses.

When a small fire in dry grass starts a big forest fire, the firefighters have to act with lightning speed. But the flames spread quickly and threaten houses and homes.
