A Tale of Thousand Stars - Season 1
Season 1
A volunteer teacher dies in a tragic accident, in which her heart is transplanted to Tian. Through a series of diary entries Tian learns about her life; her secrets and interests. Including her promise to military officer Phupha, about counting a thousand stars with him. Tian then decides to follow in her footsteps and complete her dream. With Tian a new volunteer teacher, he attempts to befriend Phupha. Yet, Phupha gives off a cold exterior. Slowly the two grow close, but Tian's heart beats fast around the military officer. As he starts to fall for him, much like its previous owner did. But with the area being war-ridden and dangerous, can they keep their thousand-star promise?
Episodes
Episode 1
After receiving a life-saving heart transplant, Tian sets out to identify who his heart donor was. In Tian's search, he locates the journal that belonged to Torfun and connects with her writing and journey of finding meaningfulness and happiness in life.
Episode 2
Tian struggles on the first day of his teaching responsibilities. The local forest rangers, Yod and Rang, help Tian get adjusted to his new surroundings while Chief Phupha also seems to be giving special attention.
Episode 3
Tian makes an effort to understand to locals better an Pa Pun Dao but encounters some troubles when he realizes the farmers are being cheated.
Episode 4
The village celebrates a wedding. Tian seizes an opportunity to get Phupha to escort him to the Pha Pun Dao cliff.
Episode 5
Tian joins Nam for a trip into the city where he meets up with his old friend, Tul. While in the city, Tian meets a powerful local, Mr. Sakda.
Episode 6
With the local merchants refusing to buy Pa Pun Dao tea leaves, Tian searches for a way to help the villagers avoid selling their tea to Mr. Sakda.
Episode 7
After Tian's recovery, Phupha invites him to move in together for his protection from Sakda's thugs.
Episode 8
As the repairs to the school house are completed, Tian finds the courage to reveal his secret to the villagers of Pa Pun Dao.
Episode 9
Tian discovers that Phupha knows his father causing him to question their relationship. Phupha pushes Tian to return home after a New Years party hosted by the village.
Episode 10
The day arrives for Tian to return to Bangkok. As he adjusts back to his old lifestyle, he still thinks of Phupha and the village leading him to question his desire to finish his engineering degree.
