To mark Advent, Ellie Harrison and Angellica Bell will celebrate three very different country Christmases in three regions in Britain. In this first episode they meet a Christmas tree farmer, a candlemaker and a woman who makes a traditional Scottish delicacy as part of Advent preparations across Scotland.
Episode 2
In this episode, Ellie Harrison and Angellica Bell travel to the north of England. They visit a town in Yorkshire that inspired Charles Dickens when he was writing A Christmas Carol; they reveal the story behind why many of us eat turkeys at Christmas; and they come across a rather unusual nativity scene.
Episode 3
In the final episode, Ellie Harrison and Angellica Bell find out about the fisherman who saved a village from starvation; visit a donkey sanctuary to discover more about the animal featured in nativity scenes; and try their hand at making a traditional mistletoe decoration.
