On the nights before Christmas, Alan Carr turns festive elf as he hosts a star-studded new quiz show in which three stars compete to win hundreds of presents for the studio audience. To get their hands on these goodies, the audience need the celebrity panellists - in this episode, Davina McCall, Nick Grimshaw and Romesh Ranganathan - to answer questions about the year posed by the celebrity stars hidden behind Alan's giant advent calendar. Guest Chris Hoy helps Alan in the studio with a question for the panel. At the end of each part, an audience member from each team plunges into Alan's giant gift box containing 30,000 balls, hoping to be the first to find one of the three wrapped presents hidden inside. The lucky person to do so wins the present contained within for every member sat in their section of the audience.
