To get their hands on these goodies, the audience need the celebrity panellists - in this first show, Alesha Dixon, Rob Beckett and Alexander Armstrong - to answer questions about the year posed by the celebrity stars hidden behind Alan's giant advent calendar. Studio guest Gok Wan helps Alan with a question for the panel. At the end of each part, an audience member from each team plunges into Alan's giant gift box containing 30,000 balls, hoping to be the first to find one of the three wrapped presents hidden inside.
