Diamond League Rome Highlights

Gabby Logan introduces highlights from the fourth leg of the Diamond League series in Rome. The famous Stadio Olimpico is the backdrop as a host of Olympic and world champions take part. Among those competing are American Justin Gatlin, who is bidding for a fifth consecutive win in the 100m at this event, while triple Rio medallist Andre de Grasse of Canada goes in the 200m against France's Christophe Lemaitre. Britain's double European indoor champion Laura Muir faces a tough field in the 1500m, which includes Olympic champion Faith Kipyegon and world indoor champion Sifan Hassan. Plus there is a fascinating clash between two world record-holders, with Ethiopians Genzebe Dibaba and Almaz Ayana doing battle in the 5000m, a distance at which Ayana won in Rome in 2016 with the second-fastest time in history.
