And then he goes to Sweden, where he visits a well-functioning nuclear power plant and their safe neighbors.
En dans med døden
Anders Lund Madsen engages in a dance with death, while he searches for a radioactive source in Southern Jutland. He is also invited to a possibly radioactive dinner with an old lady who moved back to the abandoned zone a few years after the accident in Ukraine. And then he is allowed to enter the control room of the destroyed nuclear power plant, where the whole accident in Chernobyl started.
Som en zombiefilm
Anders Lund Madsen travels to Japan to see what it's like after the nuclear power plant in Fukushima blew up in 2011. Here he visits zombie-like cities and buildings that still stand as they did when they were abandoned. He also investigates what became of the Danish nuclear waste. And then he is allowed to go all the way down in Finland, where they may have found the solution to where the radioactive waste will be stored for the next 100,000 years.
Såret er åbent
Anders Lund Madsen is allowed to get very close to the nuclear power plant in Fukushima in Japan. He also takes a look at the nuclear power future, which offers molten salt and an artificial sun. And then he visits a woman in Hiroshima who just barely survived the atomic bomb when the Americans detonated it during World War II.
