I recently learned about the Dream Gap. It's a situation where some young girls start to doubt themselves. Today, when Chelsea had a similar experience in doubting herself, I wanted to do a vlog about the Dream Gap and how it affects the way girls stop believing that they can do or be anything.

I got Ken to help me with my annual Halloween makeup tutorial! This year we're going to be lions… RAWRRR!

Here are some ideas I have on how you can use your voice to be heard on issues that matter to you.

I recently learned about the "Dream Gap" where some girls start to lose confidence between the ages of 5-7. One of the potential reasons is that they may not be aware of enough female role models and their stories. So I wanted to share some stories of female role models that inspire me!

Skipper surprised me by making me a holiday card and doing a vlog tutorial to go along with it. I love her so much!

My friends and I wanted to look back on this past year and what we accomplished. I'm so proud of us! We also set some goals for the new year!

Daisy, Skipper and I had a great chat about what it means to be able to express yourself. Sometimes people want to put us in "boxes" depending on how we choose to express ourselves but we realized you should always be true to yourself, no matter what!

Do you ever feel like you're not being heard? I had an experience like this recently and it really made me frustrated. But Teresa and I decided to not let it get us down and found different ways to make our voices heard by supporting each other.

I invited Renee on the vlog to play friend tag with me! We had a lot of fun!

Stacie challenged me to play the "Going on a Trip" game. Of course I accepted and we had a ton of fun playing! Now we just need to figure out where we want to go!

In the last vlog, Stacie and I played a travel game which inspired me to daydream about travels I would like to take! There are so many places to see! Where do you like to daydream travel to?

My mom is one of my biggest role models, so for Mother's Day I wanted to share some of the things I love about her!

I had an experience recently where someone made me upset and I had a really hard time forgiving them. But I heard about this awesome thing called Loving Kindness Meditation and it really helped! I hope it helps you too if you ever find yourself in a similar situation.

Ken and I decided to do a whisper challenge rematch! We forgot to keep score but had a ton of fun.

My awesome friend Jordan Reeves joined me on the vlog today for the Friend Tag! She's one of the coolest 13 year olds I know and we had so much fun!!!

Ken and I got stuck in the Dreamhouse elevator a couple of days ago and Stacie filmed it as a prank! So we took the footage and decided to make it a game with my sisters and friends. They created their own dialogue of what they thought we were saying. It's really funny! Stick around till the end for a BTS surprise! What do you think we were saying?

ESA Astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti is one of my role models! I think she is amazing and wanted to do a vlog about her so you could learn how amazing she is too!

Skipper challenged me to a Not My Arms Challenge and of course I accepted! Stacie was my arms and we had so much fun!!!

This morning was so crazy! Between slime clean up and homework, I was feeling rushed and a little overwhelmed. Luckily, my new Friend Eve at Headspace was able to help! She led me through a guided meditation centered around Kindness, and we recorded it for YOU! It was just what I needed to take a breather, refocus, and get on with my day. Thanks, Eve! Ken and I count down to his birthday celebration by doing a 24 hour challenge where we epically try and epically fail at a ton of different challenges. It was so much fun and at the end I surprised my one of a kind best friend with a special birthday treat. Happy Birthday Ken!

Skipper challenges me to recreate the layered cake I made for our parents' 20th wedding anniversary...WITHOUT a recipe! I definitely had some trial and error getting it right, but in the end I learned from my mistakes and made a cake even better than the first one! And we even got a pizza out of it. Thanks for directing, Skipper!

Skipper, Daisy, and I play a really fun digital improve challenge I came up with! Skipper changes our virtual backgrounds and Daisy and I have to keep the conversation going! It was a great way to laugh and feel connected to my friend Daisy after being apart for so long.

For this vlog, my littlest sister Chelsea wanted to interview ME! It was so much fun to spend time with my sister Chelsea and reminisce about our great family vacation! We also had a great time playing with my computer virtual filters and sound effects. Thanks, Chelsea!

Vlogger's Block can be the worst! It's so frustrating when you want to create but the ideas just seem to be stuck! So, I've come up with 5 ways to break through the block, to get your mind going again. They're fun to do and they work for me. I hope they work for you too!

When I started my seed library I had no idea what great things would grow out of it! Teresa brought me jalapeño seeds and a super spicy salsa recipe from her abuelita (that means grandma). It was so fun to grow the jalapeño plant, and then share the salsa and the story of how the seeds got here. Thanks Teresa!

My very first vlog from my dorm room where I'm studying at the Handler School of Performing Arts in New York City wouldn't be complete without the intro of my amazing new friend – Barbie Roberts! What are the odds? TWO Barbies at the same school with the same name! I can't wait for you all to meet her and know you'll all love her just as much as I do. Wouldn't want to take on the Big Apple with anyone else!

Barbie "Brooklyn" Roberts and I decided to do a gift exchange to celebrate our new friendship! We each chose a gift that reflects something we love, and what we mean to each other. And that's what makes our friendship so great! Love you, Barbie!

Chelsea and I had such a great time making thank you cards with pressed flowers upcycled from old bouquets! It's the perfect way to reuse a meaningful gift like flowers. And super easy too! Flowers make everyone happy and I hope the special people we give these to really enjoy them! Although, Chelsea seems more interested in who gave the bouquet to me in the first place…

Look what I found — a time capsule from when I was little! Cracking that lid really took me back to how I felt when I first moved to Malibu. Younger Me even wrote a letter to Future Me! So of course I had to write her back. Thanks for the memories, Younger Barbie!

Going back to school is a super exciting time, especially after the year we've all had! But it also brings up a lot of emotions, so it's important to try to understand that not everyone feels the same way. That's called empathy, and it's how I like to show some extra kindness to people when they need it most. Chelsea tried it to help out a new friend, and I'm so proud of her!

Brooklyn and I made up this super fun dance, and now you can do it too! We go step by step to show you all the moves. I can't wait to see you rock this routine with us!

Oh my gosh, I totally did not expect this to happen. I was ready to head to the children's hospital myself and make my holiday present donation, but my neighbor Trey joined in! At first, he just wanted to be goofy on the Vlog but he really came through in having a ton of presents to give! He helped me really start off the holiday season right with giving back. Thanks for getting us in the spirit, Trey!

To keep the holiday spirit going, Ken and I do a holiday cookie taste-off! I'm so excited that Ken is into baking now! We each baked a bunch of different cookies, put on blindfolds, and guessed which type of cookie we tasted. There's no real losing when making treats for your friends. Happy Holidays, everyone!

Here are some jumping-off points for how to be an ally and a friend to the AAPI community. It's so important to call out discrimination when you see it and to listen and learn from the people affected.

Keeping the celebration of AAPI month going, I've invited Renee on the vlog to share one of her favorite foods: lychee! It is such a cool little fruit that packs such a refreshing flavor—it's used in so many Asian foods.
