Black and White Vintage Wetroom
An ultra small arts and crafts home bathroom is turned into a massive wet room that features vintage luxury. A large claw foot tub sits next to an ethanol-burning fireplace wrapped in overlapping sheets of silver-enameled metal. Across the way is the walk-up, glass-less shower area with two massive rain heads to soak under. The walls are 4x18 white subway tiles, while the floor is black-and-white hexagon tiles to add to the vintage feel. The shower and sink fixtures are period pieces and enhance the turn-of-the-century ambience, while the vanity frame is formed with chrome pipe fittings, a black counter top, and two milk-glass sinks with exposed plumbing. Around the corner in the dry space is storage created from threaded steel rods and wood shelving, and an out-of-sight area for the toilet to complete the space.
