Race Against Time
Hobie's mother, Gayle, arrives to tell Mitch she's remarrying and wants custody of Hobie. Hobie, Gayle, and Ken (her fiance) fly to Acapulco for the wedding on Ken's plane. The pilot loses both engines in the air, and the plane crashes into the sea. All get trapped inside the plane as it sinks. Meanwhile, Matt's family moves back to France, and his father expects him to go, too. Also, Jackie and Summer open a business.
A dramatic plane crash finds Hobie, Gayle (his mother), Ken (her fiance), and the pilot trapped in the rapidly flooding fuselage beneath the sea. At the same time, Mitch and the Baywatch lifeguards mount a massive rescue effort to save the trapped passengers and crew. Meanwhile, Matt's father takes back Matt's motorcycle, and Jackie has problems with the building renovation for her new business, Summer Place.
Lover's Cove
Hobie falls in love with a girl in junior lifeguards; Mitch and Jackie have a number of interrupted dates; Matt and Summer discover that they love each other. Thinking he is romantic, Hobie takes the girl on jetski to a cove near a seaside monastery to kiss her as the bells toll, but they get caught in a dangerous current. Mitch, after rescuing them, reveals that Hobie's girlfriend got hired by Baywatch as a result of Make a Wish Foundation.
Blindside
Cort returns to Baywatch to recertify as a lifeguard and rekindles his relationship with former love, C.J. She is worried something is wrong with his eyes, as evidenced when he bungles a simple rescue by bumping into many beachgoers. Mitch persuades Cort to see an eye doctor, who discovers he has a severe disease that will eventually leave him blind. Cort leaves Baywatch and C.J. for good.
Hobie and Mitch visit a beachside attraction where a very tall man works as a "feral man" to scare customers. Hobie befriends the man and discovers he is a depressed immigrant with no family, who carves exceptional pelicans from wood. His extra-large size is a challenge for the Baywatch crew when he falls into the water accidentally.
Sky Rider
Summer becomes a nervous wreck after her former flame, Jimmy Slade, suddenly returns to town after months of traveling as a professional surfer, and both he and a jealous Matt compete for her affections. The stress of Summer's problems triggers her long-repressed bulimia. C.J. deals with her own romance problems when her current boyfriend, a hot-air balloon rider named Simon, won't take "no" for an answer to go away. Meanwhile, Garner begins to patrol the beach on horseback to help Mitch catch a pair of purse-snatchers.

Matt and Slade decide to settle their mutual affection for Summer in a daring surfing contest. A prison break gone awry finds Mitch held hostage on a fishing boat by a desperate, beautiful woman. She forces him to perform surgery for a gunshot wound on her escaped convict husband. Meanwhile, CJ tries to help Summer overcome her eating disorder. While Summer, Matt, and Slade dive into an underwater cave searching for Matt's surfboard, an octopus pulls Summer down and nearly kills her.

Stephanie's younger sister, Caroline, arrives in town for a visit with exciting news: she's engaged. But her fiancé, an environmental investigator, has a near-fatal diving accident that shatters her joy. Was it an accident or attempted murder? After Mitch performs surgery on an ex-con while still a hostage, he finds himself at the mercy of the wounded but dangerous man.
Submersion
Mitch must make a difficult decision when he must choose which of two young brothers to rescue from the ocean, and the boy he does not save first ends up in a coma.
Ironman Buchannon
Mitch's upcoming birthday motivates him to enter an iron-man competition. He needs to show he can still compete with younger men. Meanwhile, Matt's effectiveness as a lifeguard suffers due to his new night job. His late hours make Summer suspicious since she doesn't know about the job. Standing in for a tired Matt, Summer is knocked unconscious attempting a rescue.
Tower of Power
A local gang causes trouble for a new lifeguard at Baywatch. C.J. befriends a local magician–escape artist who tries to impress her with a dangerous stunt.
The Child Inside
Gymnast Mary Lou Retton, a long-time friend of Mitch, asks him and the Baywatch lifeguards to help organize and host a Special Olympics, an athletic competition for developmentally challenged youths.
Second Time Around
Matt rescues a woman following a jet ski accident and realizes he knows her from before. Things get complicated for Matt as the woman pleads with him to help her fend off a rejected suitor from her past.
The Red Knights
The reunion of The Red Knights, an elite group of lifeguards from the 1950s, stirs up painful memories for Ben and prompts him to resign from Baywatch. The day he left, he made his final rescue when he jumped off a pier to save a young boy. He was then happy to "go out on top." Jackie's big chance to impress a local music executive could be damaged by unexpected problems.
Coronado Del Sol (1)
Four Baywatch lifeguards go to San Diego to demonstrate the usage of the scarabs and waverunners to lifeguards in that area. However, Hotel Del Coronado, where they stay, has a legend of a ghost haunting its hallways that Summer experiences. Mitch tries to save his brother, who suffers a heart attack and falls overboard from their sailboat.

Stephanie and C.J., with the aid of the Coast Guard, search frantically for the missing Mitch and his brother Buzz lost at sea. Summer and the other lifeguards find out the truth behind the ghost tales at the hotel.
Mirror, Mirror
A deranged woman with multiple personality disorder becomes obsessed with Mitch and takes him hostage. Meanwhile, Matt confronts his fear of sharks.
The Falcon Manifesto
Mitch dates an investigative reporter whose story about an international government conspiracy has put her life in danger. While on the run, she finds comfort and protection when she meets Mitch. Matt pushes for a houseboat, but Summer stands firm against the idea.
Rescue Bay
When TV producer Don Brand visits Baywatch, he decides to create a television show based on lifeguarding, which creates havoc with the Baywatch crew. He calls the series Rescue Bay.
Western Exposure
A famous country music star, Jessie Lee Harris, searches for his estranged wife and son in L.A. With C.J.'s help, he finds them and promises to do fewer tours. Hobie's 14-year-old crush wants to turn him down for Mitch.
The Life You Save
Mitch deals with budget cuts that could take lifeguards off the beach. With their jobs jeopardized, everyone decides to volunteer as civilian lifeguards. At the same time, David and Julia are having a romantic time on the beach but lose an engagement ring in the water. Matt and Summer save the young couple from drowning.
Trading Places
When a man is seen drifting in the ocean, Matt and Stephanie are called in to rescue him. But as they are approaching the victim, a Coast Guard helicopter waves them away from the victim, and they rescue him instead.
Guys & Dolls
Stephanie's feelings deepen for her Coast Guard partner, Scott. Matt rescues a young woman from the ocean and tries to get her reacquainted with her dying father, but she refuses. She's actually a con artist and involves Matt in her scam.
