Food Network Star winner Eddie Jackson makes his way back to where he played college football in Little Rock, Ark. to check out what the top chefs in town can do in the BBQ Blitz arena! Special judges, chef Kardea Brown and former football player Anthony Lucas, will help deem the BBQ Blitz Champ and award the $5,000 prize.
Kansas City Showdown
Food Network Star winner Eddie Jackson heads to Kansas City, Mo., home of cool jazz music and, of course, sizzling hot barbecue. The hottest chefs in town will test out their skills and compete for the chance to win $5,000. Chef Jasper Mirabile and former Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Quinton Caver will determine who has the chops to be crowned BBQ Blitz Kansas City Champion!
Texas Takedown
Food Network Star winner Eddie Jackson heads back to where it all started for him, both on the field and in the kitchen: his hometown of Dallas! He's pitting some of Texas's best chefs and pit masters against one another, and celebrity judges chef John Tesar and former Dallas Cowboy Ken "The Hammer" Hamlin are on hand to decide who will win the $5,000 prize and reign supreme.
Alabama Brawl
It's a big family reunion as Food Network Star winner Eddie Jackson heads to his hometown of Montgomery, Ala. and finds three local chefs to test their grilling skills in a barbecue throwdown. Special judges Chris Lilly, vice president of the famous Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q, and NFL star Eddie "Boo" Williams must determine who will be the BBQ Blitz champion and win $5,000.
Miami Meltdown
Food Network Star winner Eddie Jackson heads to sunny, sandy and spicy Miami, where he played for the Miami Dolphins and discovered his love for Latin cuisine. Miami's exploding culinary scene is well-represented by this batch of barbecuing all-stars, so the special judges, chef Ingrid Hoffmann and NFL Legend Mark "Super" Duper, definitely have their work cut out for them!
Carolina Cook-Off
Food Network Star winner Eddie Jackson returns to Charlotte, N.C., where he got his start in the NFL. He's throwing a tailgating party right outside the Carolina Panthers stadium, and the competitors are ready to prove North Carolina knows its barbecue! Special judges, chef Tom Condron and former Carolina Panthers cornerback Dante Wesley, will have some tough decisions to make in crowning the BBQ Blitz Champ!
