Guts manages to get Casca back at Albion and returns to Godo's shack. There, he sees Rickert talking to Griffith, who had just regained physical form in Albion. Guts is unable to hold back his rage and attacks, but Zod gets in his way. An intense battle between the two who have improved their swordsmanship begins!

Winter's Journey
In order to get away from the disasters that the brand brings to them, Guts decides to head toward Puck's homeland. However, traveling with Casca was proving to be difficult, and darkness was stirring within Guts. Meanwhile, Farnese and Serpico, who had parted ways with Guts in Albion, had renounced the Holy See and were trying to find him. Under the cold winter night, Serpico remembers the day that Farnese had first found him...

Guts receives unexpected visitors with a surprising request. Meanwhile, Griffith and his force continue their advance, gaining new allies both fair and foul along the way.

Forest of Demonic Beasts
Farnese has a moment of self-realization as she tries to adjust to her change in circumstance. Her abrupt about-face surprises Guts and his comrades, but nothing prepares them for the surprise audience with a witch in the forest who seems to know everything about them.

Spirit Realm
When Guts decides to take Morgan to the witch in the forest, the last thing he expects is that the witch not only knows about the brand that marks Casca and him, but has also been expecting them. Guts is keen on finally getting some answers to all of his questions, but the witch can sense Guts' inner turmoil...

Fight for Survival Against the Demonic Legion
Though Guts and crew manage to make their way to Morgan's village, they receive less than a warm welcome. Nevertheless, Guts' quick wits allow them to stay. After too brief a respite, trolls attack the village once more, except in far greater numbers than ever before...

The Arcana of Invocation
The villagers take shelter in the church from the trolls. Shierke puts up a barrier around the church and that keeps the trolls out, but then an ogre and kelpie also appear in the village. Guts and Serpico go to deal with them to buy Shierke some time to deal with them. Shierke uses her magic and finds out that there used to be a shrine of a deity that protected this land...

The Corruption of Qliphoth
Guts and crew venture into the Qliphoth to rescue the trapped villagers. Once inside, they're met with a parade of nightmares, and must fight for their lives against hideous creatures.

The Berserker Armor
After rescuing Casca and Farnese, Guts has retained grievous injuries from his encounter in the spiritual realm. The group decides to take Guts back to Flora for treatment, only to discover that Griffith has sent an assault force to kill Flora.

A Journey Begins in Flames
In his new cursed armor, Guts does not feel pain. This makes him near unstoppable, to the point that even one of the apostles of light cannot defeat him. But even if he doesn't feel pain, the damage still remains, and the armor itself threatens to engulf his soul...

Proclaimed Omens
Guts and his band make it to the sea and get to enjoy some quiet time. That night, Guts and Schierke encounter the Skull Knight. He tells them about the history of the Berserker armor and the Fairy King who could possibly restore Casca. Guts manages a smile at the news, but then they are attacked by one of the Kushan's monsters...

City of Humans
In order to find a ship to head to Skellig Island, Guts and his band head into the Port of Vritannis. As soon as they get in, Isidoro makes an insensitive remark towards Schierke and she runs off. As she wanders around the port, Schierke encounters things that she has never seen before. Then, a mysterious girl calls out to her. Who could this girl be?
