FBI Special Agent Seely Booth teams with Dr Temperence Brennon from the Jeffersonian Institute to solve the murder of an ex-aide of a Washington, DC, congressman.
The Man in the SUV
Car bomb explodes in front of a busy café, killing the driver and a number of the cafés patrons, and injuring others. Since the car was registered to a prominent Middle Eastern man with U.S. government ties, Agent Booth calls Dr. Brennan into the case to help with the identification of the driver. Once the driver's identity is revealed, Brennan and Booth uncover clues that lead them in an unexpected direction - on the trail of a terrorist before another murder is committed. Meanwhile, Brennan and her team discover that Booth is seeing a woman, which inspires Angela to look further into Booth's personal life in hopes of convincing Brennan that she has a chance for romance with Booth.
A Boy in a Tree
When the decaying corpse of the Venezuelan ambassador's son is found hanging from a tree on the campus of an exclusive private school, Dr. Temperance Brennan and Agent Seeley Booth are called in to investigate. The cause of death seems to be suicide, Brennen isn't convinced as searches for another explanation.
The Man in the Bear
When a human arm is found inside the stomach of a black bear, Brennan and Booth travel to Washington state to investigate. They search a small town for clues and discover that ritualistic cannibalism is involved.
A Boy in a Bush
Brennan is enlisted by Booth to help locate and identify the remains of Charlie, a 6-year-old who went missing from a local park.
The Man in the Wall
The desiccated remains of a body are found inside the wall of a popular dance club. The investigation uncovers a turf war between artists within the local urban music industry, where the quest for success may end in death.
The Man on Death Row
Condemned man Howard Epps is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection in 32 hours for the murder of 17-year-old April Wright. Epps' attorney, Amy Morton, makes a last-minute appeal to Booth, the man who arrested Epps, to re-examine the case.
The Girl in the Fridge
The remains of a kidnapped woman are found in an abandoned refrigerator. When Brennan is called as an expert witness in the trail of the suspected murderers, she discovers the defense has brought in an expert of their own, Brennan's former forensic anthropology professor - and ex-lover - Dr. Michael Stires.
The Man in the Fallout Shelter
The Jeffersonian Christmas party is interrupted when Booth arrives with the remains of a body from the 1950s recently discovered in an old fallout shelter. The team is then quarantined inside the lab after they are inadvertently exposed to Valley Fever.
The Woman at the Airport
Booth and Brennan travel to Los Angeles to determine the identity of a woman whose body parts were found near Los Angeles International Airport. Brennan's skills are put to the test when she realizes the victim's identity is hidden by previous extensive plastic surgery.
The Woman in the Car
A baby is found at the scene of a dead body found inside a burned car. After the child swallows a piece of evidence, Booth and Brennan must care for the child while trying to solve the murder of his mother.
The Superhero in the Alley
Booth and Brennan investigate the death of a teenager found in an alley wearing what appears to be a superhero costume.
The Woman in the Garden
The body of a young woman is found in the trunk of a gang member's car. Booth and Brennan investigate, only to discover the truth is not as simple as it appears.
The Man on the Fairway
When a commuter jet crashes, the Jeffersonian team is charged with identifying the remains of several Chinese diplomats. Brennan however is more interested in other remains found at the site, and she is encouraged to investigate them after a man shows up at the Jeffersonian convinced the remains belong to his missing father.
Two Bodies in the Lab
Booth and Brannan investigate the death of a man in what appears to be a mob hit. They are assisted in their investigation by fellow FBI agent, Jamie Kenton. The investigation takes a dangerous turn when Brennan lands in the crosshairs of the killer.
The Woman in the Tunnel
The remains of a young documentary filmmaker are found in a ventilation shaft in an underground Washington, DC, tunnel. The investigation leads the team to a society living in the tunnels and a lost treasure of American art.
The Skull in the Desert
Angela contacts Brennan when her long-time boyfriend, Kirk, goes missing in the desert while they are on vacation together.
The Man with the Bone
The team gets a case of pirate fever when a dead body is found clutching a 300-year-old finger bone. Not only does the team need to solve the murder, but they may also prove the existence of a long sought after pirate treasure.
The Man in the Morgue
Brennan is in New Orleans helping identify bodies after hurricane Katrina when she wakes up in her hotel bathroom covered in blood and with no memory of the last two days.
The Graft in the Girl
Booth and Brennan investigate a case of illegal organ harvesting after Brennan discovers why the daughter of FBI Deputy Director Sam Cullen is dying of a rare form of lung cancer.
The Soldier on the Grave
The team is called in to investigate after the burned body of a war protester is found on the grave of a war hero at Arlington National Cemetery. As they uncover more information about the case, all clues point to a potential military cover-up with regard to the soldier's death.
The Woman in Limbo
While trying to determine the identity of a Jane Doe, Brennan is shocked to learn the remains are those of her mother, who went missing with her father fifteen years ago. Brennan discovers her mother was murdered more than a year after her parent's disappearance and is determined to find out what happened.
