Season of Plenty
"Brotherhood of Lions" portrays the lives of five male lion cubs who grow up to dominate a pride and its territory. Despite being skilled hunters, hunger drives them to violence, and family relationships are complicated. The males rely on the more agile lionesses to hunt, especially during the arrival of zebra herds in their territory.
The documentary shows the risks that the lionesses take during hunting, and the impact of park rangers'-controlled fires on the land. They face challenges, including climate change, human activity, and the wildebeest migration. The series also explores the complex relationships within the lion pride and the struggles of adolescent lions trying to establish themselves. "Brotherhood of Lions" provides a fascinating look into the lives of these majestic creatures and the harsh realities they face in the wild.
