When Gary and Cona attempt to recover £4,000 of debt owed by a young man still living with his mum the scene turns very violent very quickly, a man who claimed to have terminal cancer is found to have been economical with the truth and a car dealer believes the dodgy car he sold is not his responsibility.

A family of debtors get physical when their cars are clamped, police backup is requested for a stand-off in a hotel, and garage staff accuse one of the agents of stealing from the till.

Episode 3
Gary and Cona try to pinpoint a debtor in South East London, but instead encounter his angry brother, who proceeds to attack Gary.

Episode 4
In this explosive episode the High Court Enforcement Agents hear a call to arms, get tangled in a family's convoluted web and Paul takes a blow - from some shop shutters.

Episode 5
A jeweller lashes out at Garry in Birmingham, while emotions get the better of a debtor in South East London. In North Wales, a property developer fails to disguise his identity, and a dispute between a council and a private landlord in East London prompts Steve and Max to clamp the mayor's limo.

A debtor in London ties his car to a tree to stop agents taking it in payment, a young couple clearly don't have the means to pay their debt, a church ministry owes rent and a barber owes a business consultancy.

Episode 7
A car parts dealer throws a spanner in the works after Stewart and Elmor strike a deal, the cops are called to help evict a tenant in East London, and Paul and Ben barge their way into a flat to discover some very vulnerable tenants.

Matt and Garry face down a nightclub owner's aggressive friends. Max and Paul work with a professional cyclist whose career is in the balance.

Matt meets a single mum struggling to cope with mounting debts. A beauty salon owner threatens to lock Stewart in and place him under citizen's arrest

Matt and Garry incur the wrath of a man whose former girlfriend wants to recover the money he owes her, a mother is shocked when she is asked to cough up several thousand pounds to cover a loan she guaranteed for her son, and a taxi company tries to hide its debts by moving into a different line of business.

The agents face ugly scenes at a beauty salon, a film producer has a drama on his hands, and a mother and son try to hide from a debt owed to a garage.

Episode 14
A travel agent who owes money to a dissatisfied customer lashes out at agents Paul and Max. Matt and Garry chase up a pensioner who turns out to be dependent on benefits himself. A letting agency claims not to be in business at that address to avoid payment. A convenience store owner may be forced to empty the shelves to pay his debt.

Episode 15
Max, Steve, Paul and Garry face debtors from every level of society, including a peer of the realm clinging to priceless antiques and a desperate woman who is owed £18k by a recruitment agency.

Episode 16
Stewart and Elmor attempt to recover money from a company director for unpaid invoices. The agents face a fiery reception from a family who deny the debtor lives or trades from the address.

Episode 17
Max and Steve have a writ to recover a disputed debt owed by the owner of a bridal shop, and also face a challenging eviction. Gary and Cona are chasing money owed by a small business, and recovering vet fees.

Episode 18
Max and Paul are in central London with a writ to recover unpaid parking fines. In Lancashire, Stewart and Vic are chasing a debt owed to a shipping company by a scrapyard owner. Back in central London, an eviction proves tricky for Steve.

Episode 19
Matt and Garry face a threatening situation when they try to recover some unpaid nursery fees, a young driver's failure to pay some parking fines causes a family ruction and the owner of a takeaway who owes several thousand pounds tries to slink into the background when the agents come calling.

Episode 20
Max and Steve attempt to calm a situation where a debtor loses his temper. Matt and Garry attempt to help an accountant who is asset rich but cash poor. Meanwhile an ex-dentist who is barred from working claims he is unable to pay what he owes in rent arrears.

Episode 21
Stewart and Iain are in Manchester to collect one of the largest debts they've ever chased. In Kent, Gary and Cona have a writ for money owed by a couple for unpaid rent and Stewart and Vic are in Lancashire to collect a debt owed by an accountant for unpaid parking fines.

Episode 22
Max and Steve are on a bid to recover unpaid court costs after a car accident. The debtor denies all knowledge, but his luxury car could be taken away. Also Aron and Iain have a writ after the organiser of a music festival refused to pay a supplier.

Episode 23
An evasive man in West London is given a choice between paying up or relinquishing his luxury car, there's a writ for the organiser of a music festival, an aggressive rent defaulter needs evicting, and a whole family get angry in Hertfordshire when the agents call to collect a loan owed to a woman's ex-partner.

Episode 24
Gareth and Mitch confront a window supplier over an ú8,000 claim, Stewart and Elmor try to evict a volatile tenant who kicks up a stink, and Stewart and Vic try to recoup ú5,000 in parking fines.

Gary and Cona face a debtor's ex-partner trying to intimidate them in West London, and seize cars from a dealer's forecourt to cover money owed to a customer. Matt and Garry meet a grandmother in shock at the size of her debt, and uncover an audacious lie at a Birmingham childcare nursery.

Episode 35
A debtor, who owes thousands in unpaid parking fines, is found to have a luxury car with false plates on his driveway, Matt and Garry try to recoup £16,000 owed to a landlord, and a the renter of a lock up in Swindon is angry and shocked to discover he owes £2,000 in unpaid rent.

Episode 36
Tempers start to fray as Stewart and Elmor try to evict a tenant from a property in Manchester, the licensee of a pub tries to cut a deal with her new landlord over a debt, and a car salesman is not happy about coughing up to a dissatisfied customer.

Episode 37
Stewart and Vic see through a debtor's lies in Manchester, before tracking down a landlord who owes his tenants £5,000 odd in Liverpool. Gareth and Mitch are in for a surprise in Wiltshire.

Episode 38
Gareth and Mitch collect debts owed for unpaid home improvements but the debtor claims he has been kicked out of the property. Also, Stewart and Vic chase an unpaid parking fine but must deal with the debtor's protective brother.

Episode 39
A Warwickshire debtor moves goods to a neighbouring house to stop the agents seizing them. A family on the south coast pretend they are not in, even when one of their cars is clamped.

Episode 40
A debtor's mother gets involved and tempers start to fray when the agents chase over ú2,000 owed for unpaid parking fines. A woman is refusing to pay fees to a veterinary practice after she claims her dog has been misdiagnosed.

Episode 41
Gary and Paul try to recoup a debt owed by a pub, Stewart and Elmor tread carefully in a property which has many items that could be used as weapons, and Gary and Cona try to collect the outstanding legal fees owed by a family who fell out over a will.

The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia.
