Ding Junjie is the deputy manager of the marketing department of a company, and his subordinate Ying Jiaming is the son of the chairman. Jiaming's lazy behavior at the workplace is noticed by his team leader, Junjie. Jiaming's family connections means he cannot be fired from his position, so Jiaming personally watches over his work to ensure the work is completed.
Episode 2
Jiaming quickly gets promoted at the office and suddenly becomes Junjie's supervisor. On his first day, Jiaming requires Junjie to stay late in the office on his birthday.

When Jiaming's ex-girlfriend Lucy arrives at the office, he pretends to be dating Junjie to dissuade her.
