Episode 15
Chris Kamara and expert appraiser Jessica Forrester are in London treasure-hunting with Maria and Gary. Maria is a former accountant who's originally from Russia and Gary is a sociology professor from South Africa. They met in their local park when they were both out for their daily exercise during the first lockdown, and they're now engaged to be married. With the couple starting a new life together, it feels like the right time to let go of some of the things from their past. So there's no shortage of stuff for Kammy and appraiser Jessica to sort through, but are any valuables there to be found? Maria was made redundant during the pandemic, and she's decided to turn her passion for yoga into a profession by training to be an instructor. She needs £2,000 to complete her qualifications for her career change. But will the sales at auction be enough to help her realise her dream?

The Repair Shop
The Repair Shop is a workshop of dreams, where broken or damaged cherished family heirlooms are brought back to life.
Furniture restorers, horologists, metal workers, ceramicists, upholsterers and all manner of skilled craftsmen and women have been brought together to work in one extraordinary space, restoring much-loved possessions to their former glory.
Many of these items have incredible stories behind them and a unique place in history: from an accordion played in the Blitz by a woman who is now in her 90s, to a beautifully crafted clock made by a father who was completely blind; a Pinball machine that is currently being used as a kitchen counter, and a Davenport desk with its trademark fake drawers which fooled burglars - and their crowbar.
The Repair Shop is an antidote to our throwaway culture and shines a light on the wonderful treasures to be found in homes across the country.
