Then the trainees strip off and get into their robes, ready for the massage class. They need to listen carefully because later that day they will be let loose on some real customers. When they meet their first clients, there are a few surprises about who gets to massage whom.
At the end of the day the trainees gather in the staff dining room, where Herbert assesses their progress so far - but who'll be named bottom of the class?
Episode 2
Celebrity trainees Helen Flanagan, Rustie Lee, Yvette Fielding, James (Arg) Argent, John Burton-Race and Jody Latham are given a masterclass in waxing technique. After practising on each other, they tackle their first real clients - the lads from a local rugby team. There is a lot of pain and a bit of blood as they get to work, working against the clock to remove as much hair from the boys as they can.
Herbert then announces a very special challenge – intimate waxing. There are mixed reactions from the trainees as it dawns on them what this entails. It proves easier for some to handle than others, but which of them has the strength of character to pull it off?
Episode 3
Celeb trainees Helen, Rustie, Yvette, James (Arg) Argent, John and Jody are taught how to create the glamorous Liverpool look, but through the salon doors walk some surprising customers.
TOWIE'S Amy Childs also drops by to teach the trainees all about vajazzling. They create some inspired designs, including a shooting star and a cat!
Episode 4
The day starts a spray tanning class, for which aficionado Helen volunteers to model. But will the celebs keep their cool when faced with a selection of scantily clad models in the treatment rooms?
The trainees then get to grips with manicures and pedicures, before Herbert announces the biggest challenge yet. The celebs will create and run their own pop-up shop in the salon. With questionable service and a few underhand tricks, which team will bring in the most money?
Episode 5
It's the day of the final, and by the end of the programme, one of the real trainees will be awarded the potentially life-changing prize of £10,000, a place on a beauty course and one year's mentorship from Herbert. The pressure is on as each pair is given two models to make over. Will it be an amazing haircut, an outstanding beauty treatment or a stunning makeup session that scoops the prize?
