The series kicks off with a case about a prison escapee (Travis Fimmel) who just committed a double homicide during a home invasion after being on the run for five years.Meanwhile, the task force welcomes a new member to the team.

A case involving the murder of a state trooper's son puts the team on the trail of fugitive Eduardo "El Lobo" Lopez (Robert LaSardo), whom they discover is on the lookout for a couple who are believed to be holding something he is desperate to regain.

After 17 years of living life on the run and under a false identity, a onetime mob big shot (Robert Knepper) goes on a killing spree that harkens back to his notorious gangster heyday.

A mother (Jennifer Morrison) goes on the run with her young daughter after a grisly murder. The team must reassess their strategy for capturing her, however, when doubts arise about the woman's mental state.

A financier who defrauded investors of millions of dollars jumps bail and goes on a violent rampage. To complicate matters further, Annie begins to fall for the bounty hunter (Eddie Cibrian) who's also after the criminal. Meanwhile, Luke and Jimmy begin to form a bond.

While pursuing a fugitive who is using explosives as part of his revenge plan, Annie is injured and must turn to bounty hunter Ben Crowley (Eddie Cibrian) for help. With Annie on the shelf Jimmy must step up and lead the team, which puts Daisy's tactical experience to work in an effort to bring down the criminal, while Luke is forced to take a more pivotal part in the investigation.

The squad doesn't much like it when a U.S. Marshal impersonator starts gunning down fugitive escapees, and Annie takes it extremely personal when he turns the tables on her. Meanwhile, a surprise visitor causes a rift between Luke and the team.

Meanwhile, a case triggers Marco's memories of tough assignments in the narcotics unit; and Jimmy makes a decision about his relationship with Natalie (Siena Goines).

While the unit formulates a plan to rescue Annie from the drug cartel, she promises another hostage that she'll get him safely back to the United States.
