Season 1
Lee Kang is a neurosurgeon, who once dreamed of becoming a chef. As a child, Moon Cha Young once met Lee Kang at a small restaurant in the seaside town. There, Lee Kang cooked and gave her a meal, which in part inspired her to become a world-famous chef. Many years later, the two meet again at a hospice ward and together they heal their own emotional scars by preparing meals for the patients there.

Episode 1
Lee Kang works at a small seaside restaurant with his mom. One day he notices a girl eating some of their food and he prepares her a big meal. She's so happy and so grateful she starts to cry. He tells her to come back for lunch and he'll prepare a special chocolate for her. Things happen, years pass, and those days become distant memory. But not for Moon Cha-young... for her this was something special, and she even became a chef. Lee Kang became a neurosurgeon due to his new high-class family. Two two of them meet at a hospital he works at, but only she recognizes him, to him she is just another patient that is acting rather strange. Sometime later, he goes to Libya as a doctor and gets wounded by a shell. His chances for survival are looking slim to none.
Episode 2
Moon Cha-young is surprised to see Lee Kang alive and well, just as she agreed to be his best friend's girlfriend. She cannot be close to Lee Kang, knowing he's alive, without falling for him, so she breaks it off and goes as far away as she can, and thus she goes to Greece.
