Liz and Andrew have sold their motorcycle business in Watford, ready to take early retirement. They've chosen Devon as the place to search for their dream home, which must include land for a smallholding for Liz and plenty of outbuildings for Andrew's beloved cars and motorbikes. Liz dreams of a property with a coastal view, while Andrew believes they'll find more land in the countryside. For their budget of £650,000, interior designer Kerr Drummond impresses them with some stunning properties on the coast, while property expert Kirsty Duffy wows them with how far their budget will stretch in the country. So will it be a victory for Coast or Country?
Episode 2
Debbie and Paul are selling their home in Warrington and are planning a move to north Wales. Debbie, who works from home as a PR manager, wants to find a property within walking distance of the coast, whereas painter and decorator Paul prefers a country backdrop with a garage for his beloved bike. Kirsty Duffy searches the Welsh countryside to find Debbie and Paul the best properties for their budget of £350,000, while Kerr Drummond scours the north Wales coast to find them their dream home. But which one of them will find the winning house?

Miles and Carolyne are leaving Berkshire for a new life in Cumbria. Carolyne wants to find a property in the countryside with enough land to raise animals, but Miles is hankering for a property close to the sea, where he spent many a happy childhood holiday. Kerr Drummond shows them what their budget of £450,000 will get them on the coast, while Kirsty Duffy delivers some imposing properties in the countryside. So will it be a victory for Coast or Country?

Expats Andrew and Anouchka are currently living in Sweden, but with their second child on the way, they're planning a move back to east Scotland to be nearer to family. Having lived in coastal cities in Australia for a large part of her life, Anouchka would love to move back by the sea. However, Scottish-born Andrew prefers the Fife countryside, where he spent many a happy childhood holiday with his grandparents. Coastal property expert Kerr Drummond will be trying to convince them that their budget of £500,000 will be better spent by the sea, while country advocate Kirsty Duffy wants to prove they'll get much more for their money further inland.

Expats Mags and Murray are moving back from Dubai to start a glamping business in Somerset. They're looking for a property with plenty of land, which Murray believes they are more likely to find in the countryside. But coast-loving Mags thinks their business will be far more successful if they're based by the sea. Kirsty Duffy wows them with some characterful countryside properties for their £600,000 budget, while Kerr Drummonds attempts to convince them that the Somerset coast is a far better place to live and work.

Best friends and neighbours Malika and Steven are leaving west London for a new life in Cumbria. They've decided to pool their budgets and buy a property together, but they're torn on where it should be. Steven longs to live in a traditional seaside town, but Moroccan-born Malika desperately wants to experience the quintessential British countryside. Property expert Kirsty Duffy impresses them with some picturesque country properties in the Lake District, while coastal lover Kerr Drummond fights back with some jaw-dropping houses by the sea. So will it be a victory for Coast or Country?

Lee and Heulwen are relocating from south Wales to south Devon and are hoping to find their forever home. The trouble is, Heulwen wants a characterful property in the countryside while Lee would prefer a modern build by the coast. Kerr Drummond and Kirsty Duffy face one of their toughest challenges to date when they're asked to find three properties for three families on one plot of land! Mark and his oldest daughter Vicky are searching on behalf of their entire extended family, as they would all like to live as neighbours. To make matters even more complicated, half the family would like to move to the coast whereas the other half wants to live in the country. Former estate agent Kirsty shows them what their £1,000,000 budget can offer them in the Devon and Dorset countryside, while property expert Kerr makes a splash with some stunning properties on the coast.
