As the year draws to a close, Audrey encourages David to put his family first, Roy advises Evelyn to take the law into her own hands, and Carla makes a midnight declaration to Lisa.

Roy makes a timely decision to check on an unwell Carla, Sarah spots an emotional exchange between Daniel and Daisy, and Evelyn applies to university. Cassie delights in winding up Tracy, Lisa confronts Matty over Becky's death, and Dylan calls a truce with Mason.

Mason takes a risk to help Lisa to apprehend his brothers, Evelyn encounters a familiar face at her university interview, and Daisy decides to cut ties with Bertie. Tracy accuses Cassie of swindling Ken, and Carla learns that her kidney has been damaged by sepsis.

With Betsy still refusing to believe in his innocence, Mason prepares to leave Weatherfield to escape his brothers. However, Matty and Logan soon track him down and Dylan and Abi get caught in the fallout.

Mason's stabbing is the talk of Weatherfield, Betsy admits to Lisa her part in the factory burglary, Bobby offers Carla a kidney, Joseph hands himself in to the police and Abi struggles to deal with what she witnessed.

Bobby visits Rob to persuade him to donate a kidney to Carla, Dev proposes to Bernie again and David continues to distrust Shona. Elsewhere, Abi accuses Toyah of abducting Alfie and Evelyn bids farewell to friends as she departs for university.

Matty hijacks Bobby and Rob's prison visit, Betsy finds Dylan swigging vodka in the precinct, Daisy encourages Bethany to tell Daniel of her London job offer, Billy has a change of heart, and Abi assures Kevin that she is coping.

Bethany feels eclipsed by Daisy on Bertie's birthday, Bobby persuades Carla to see Rob, Kevin tells Debbie about a worrying symptom, and Daniel accuses Cassie of lacing Ken's tea.

Kevin and Abi hide health concerns from one another, Lauren's trial gets under way, Carla learns the price of her private transplant, Adam is dismayed to hear of Cassie's blackmail, and Tracy offers Leanne some advice.

Lauren faces a fresh accusation in court, Leanne compensates Amy, Daniel demands a DNA test, Bethany accepts a job in London, and Toyah is stunned by Abi's vitriol.

Daisy is spooked when Bethany learns of her pregnancy, Leanne flirts with Ronnie, Cassie is almost caught in the act, Harvey contacts David via Lily, and Lauren returns to court for the verdict.

Tracy encourages Leanne to take back what is hers, Ken confronts Cassie with Daniel's allegation, Daisy decides to keep the DNA test result a secret, and David arms himself to protect his family when the Platts' dog sustains unexplained injuries.

David contacts Andy to finalise their plan as Sarah celebrates her birthday at the bistro. Steve rejects Leanne's advances before Amy recounts her ordeal. Abi suffers a panic attack and lashes out at Toyah. When a fire takes hold at Number Eight, the Platts venture inside to search for Lily, but leave someone trapped by the flames.

Max and Toyah's lives hang in the balance as David and Leanne both deny starting the fire, and Kevin fears the worst when Abi does a disappearing act.

Sarah's discovery reinforces her suspicion of David, Kevin spots the arsonist on the garage's CCTV, Steve condemns Leanne's false version of events, and Carla's update displeases Rob.

Carla faces danger when Rob calls Mandy for help, Gemma and Chesney's new neighbours make their presence felt, and Nick breaks bad news to David.

Kit investigates what happened to Rob, David meets up with Andy, Mick's loud music disturbs George, and the hospital environment proves too much for Abi.

Ryan overhears Bobby arranging to pick up some cash, Lisa is questioned about Rob, Abi bumps into a familiar face at therapy, and Todd persuades Billy to attend a singles event.

Daisy reveals the identity of her baby's father, Todd encounters Julie again, Cassie gets up to her old tricks, and Betsy tries to keep Dylan positive about the future.

Cassie has an effect on Steve and Ken's hearts, Todd and George urge Julie to be honest with Eileen, Dylan makes matters worse for himself in court, Daisy struggles with the emotion of her scan, and Kevin feels emasculated by Ronnie.

Kevin rejects Tim's support after receiving more bad news, Cassie visits Ken in hospital, Brody helps Dylan to settle into his new home, and David signs up for more work with Andy.

Max is sentenced for his crime, Sally hosts a dinner party, Ken refuses to add to Cassie's troubles, Andy confronts David with a knife, and birthday girl Jenny makes a drunken pass at Kit.

Kit encourages Daniel to find out who the daddy is - meanwhile, the Platts puzzle over some odd behaviour, but their questions remain unanswered when Daisy and David are both hit by a car and lie badly injured in the street.

The residents pray for David and Daisy to pull through, Alya quits her job as Yasmeen is offered one, Carla suspects Rob of breaking into her flat, and Kit starts asking questions about the crash.

Accusations fly in the aftermath of the crash, Betsy refuses to curtail her freedom because of Rob, Eileen catches Julie whispering with George, and Alya bids an emotional farewell to Yasmeen.

Lisa informs Carla that a body has been found, Alya asserts her authority to her new business partner, and Tracy forces Tommy to choose between her and his new job.

A vengeful Tracy leads Cassie onto the path of temptation, and Dee-Dee assures Ed that having her baby adopted is the right decision.

James Bailey pays an unexpected visit, Daisy commemorates her baby, Lauren's news takes Dee-Dee by surprise, and Roy catches Cassie slipping back into her old ways.

James offers to provide a home for Dee-Dee's baby, Carla and Lisa pursue Mandy, Brody gives Sean an ultimatum, and Brian learns of Julie's diagnosis. Elsewhere, Tracy finds Rob lurking in the ginnel, and Evelyn suggests giving up her studies to look after Cassie.

Tracy agrees to help a desperately unwell Rob to escape, Dee-Dee arranges to meet prospective adopters, and Dylan begs Sean not to report Brody. Elsewhere, Debbie refuses to pay Mick for his work, and Eileen cannot handle discussion of Julie's funeral plans.
