J.R. tries to get Ewing Oil out of financial trouble but gets squeezed by the banks. Determined to fix the problem with Tony's adoption, Ray learns that it may be necessary to have Aunt Lil testify. Ben Stivers talks to Clayton about his past. Harry McSween comes up with dirt from Mark Graison's past. Punk Anderson has a strange feeling that he's met Ben Stivers before. J.R. and Sue Ellen grow closer, which upsets Jerry Kenderson when he sees them together at a reception. Ray and Donna get another chance at adopting Tony. Soon after J.R. breaks things off with Mandy for good, Angelica holds him at gunpoint.

The Big Fat Quiz
The Big Fat Quiz is an annual British television programme broadcast on the last Sunday of the year on Channel 4. Essentially, the show is a comedy panel show in the style of a pub quiz. Three teams, of two celebrities each, are asked questions relating to the events of the year just gone by, which they write answers to on an electronic board in front of them. At the end of each round, they then display their answers, scoring a point for each correct one. The first edition was broadcast in December 2004. There has been another at the end of each year since, as well as a special edition in November 2007 for Channel 4's 25th anniversary celebrations.
Severance
Mark Scout leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure, which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. This daring experiment in "work-life balance" is called into question as Mark finds himself at the center of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work… and of himself.
