The adorable meerkat stands tall in Africa's Kalahari Desert ... with the help of its tail! And the surprises don't end there. Older daughters within the clan nurse and raise the pups. But predators abound like the venomous cobra. To ensure the safety and security of all, strict rules are in place with equally tough consequences. At the top of the list: only the clan matriarch can conceive. The eldest daughter of a family we follow finds this out the hard way as she ponders life's choices.
