When a girl goes missing, disgraced lawyer Tilda Renström sees her chance to get her job back as a prosecutor. She partners with Ibraahin, a Somali refugee and former detective, to help find the teenager, but Ibraahin expects something in return.
Avsnitt 2
Tilda stops Ibraahin's deportation, and with his help she secures evidence that moves the investigation forward. Although she makes sure the press knows about her contribution to the case, Tilda fails to mention Ibraahin's input.

Tilda has regained her job at the prosecutor's office in Uppsala, though she remains under scrutiny. Assigned to the case of a man found dead in his car, Tilda realizes that she needs Ibraahin, but she no longer has contact with the refugee center.

A forged piece of evidence forces the police to halt their investigation, and Detective Mats Drevlid sets out to expose the saboteur. At the same time, Ibraahin makes a discovery that benefits Tilda.

When a man connected to the case that got Tilda dismissed is murdered, she sees a chance for redemption. Ibraahin takes a job as a bicycle messenger as a cover, while Mats searches for the truth about the refugee's role.

Bent on revenge, Tilda abruptly arrests a man whom Ibraahin believes is innocent. Making matters worse, Tilda's sister, Beata, is the defendant's counsel, and Mats realizes he's not the only one who doesn't trust Tilda.
