Han Yi-han, a genius surgeon, performs a heart transplant for his girlfriend's brother. Later, he gets a secretive call from the director of his hospital.

Seok-joo dies from the surgery that was supposed to be successful. Yi-han struggles to find out the truth about his death, but he goes on trial as the accused.

Five years later, Yihan returns as a lawyer and takes the case of Kitae, his former colleague.

Kitae dies suddenly. Yihan suspects it is related to Banseok University Medical Center.

Soyeon, an idol trainee, visits New-Hope Law Office, claiming she is a victim of ghost surgery.

Yosub shows up as a witness to Soyeon's case.

Yihan confirms he can operate on Junghyun's son. Meanwhile, Yihan meets Jingi after five years.

Junghyun asks Yihan to begin operation on her son, as his condition worsens.

Yihan succeeds in the operation on Junhwan thanks to Yosub. Hyukchul breaks his promise.

Yihan meets Jinwoo, boyfriend of Sunae, Miseon's daughter. Jayden competes in an auction house.

Yihan reveals Sunae has been taken hostage by Jingi. Jayden tells the truth about the new drug.

Yihan transplants Jinwoo's lung to Sunae. Jayden offers a deal to Dohyung in a gambling house.

Yihan saves Yoonseok from Gukkwang Gang. A film of Jingi killing Dohyung is shown in the hearing.

Jingi and Miseon are arrested. Yihan tries to reveal the VIP that stole the heart of Seokju.

Yihan is sure Jayden took Seokju's heart. Someone unexpectedly shows up at Jingi's trial.

Jayden takes revenge on Jingi. One year later, Yihan faces a retrial.
