She sees Horton the elephant walking by and talks him into taking her spot. Maisie goes off to Palm Beach and has such a good time she decides not to go back. Horton sits through the winter on the egg waiting for Maisie to return. Hunters come in the springtime and capture Horton while he is still sitting on the egg to take him back to America to sell him to a circus. Originally released, in 1942, as part of Warner Bros.'
