Thirteen queens arrive to the werkroom for the beginning of the second season, their only goal: becoming the next Mexican drag superstar. It's a bumpy ride right from the start with a sewing challenge where they'll transform from horror to haute couture. The category is "My Roots," where they'll sashay down the runway and proudly flaunt their origins to the judges' panel.

After the first queen sashays away, the remaining queens know it's game on. They dive into the mini-challenge of Drag Race trivia with one goal: snatch that victory. Then, it's time to werk it on the dance floor. In the maxi-challenge, two fierce dance crews battle it out, hoping to groove their way out of the bottom and avoid the dreaded lip-sync showdown for the second elimination of the season.

A queen's gotta soar to new heights, and in this episode's mini-challenge, they're reaching for the stars. We kick things off with a fierce photo shoot where they're alien hunters, and then it's time for the season's ball, paying tribute to the vibrant Mexican fairs. It's time for the comedy queens to show us what they've got in the Reading challenge. After delivering the sickest reads, it's time to hit the stage in the maxi-challenge: girl bands! With three queens already sashayed away, the tension is high, and nobody wants to end up in the bottom. Midseason arrives with eight queens still in the race. And to make things a little harder, This time they will have to face mysterious suitcases with sport equipment that they must transform into fashion designs worthy of Drag Race. The looks on the runway will define who will lipsync.

Everyone in Mexico knows the theme of this Rusical: soap operas, all starring a character called María. Sometimes she's humble, sometimes she has a talking dog, but she is always poor and unfortunate. Who will be the villain and who will be the heroine in this Rusical that challenges the acting, singing and dancing of the queens. The best will have a new pin to show off in the werkroom, the worst will go home just days away to the final.
