Scimitar
Can Sheldon and Peter deliver an automatic Reliant Scimitar GTE for a fellow classic car enthusiast who's recovering from spinal surgery?
Sheldon and Peter are given a very specific brief. Client Max has had major spinal surgery that's left him unable to drive manual cars. For Max to indulge his passion for classic cars, an automatic gearbox is a must have for the Reliant Scimitar GTE that he wants Sheldon to find. After a lengthy search, Sheldon tracks down a likely automatic Scimitar, but then things take a turn for the worse. Having stalled several times on the way back to the workshop, the guys discover that the all-important auto-box is leaking oil and will need to come out. The race is on to get the Scimitar running smoothly and changing gear seamlessly, before Sheldon can even think about the complicated wiring for an immobiliser alarm or Pete can start work on the tatty bumpers.
