Ali and Leo narrowly miss the weapons container in the port of Athens, but they manage to find out that the container belongs to a company that operates from Munich. Maryam encounters inconsistencies in the planning and construction of the collapsed bridge while preparing for the trial in Munich.

Ali and Leo narrowly escape death and realise that they are involved in a far-reaching conspiracy whose bloody trail leads them back to Munich. There they meet Ali's colleague Frida, who has just been released from the hospital and is also - albeit for different motives - trying to find out what and, above all, who is behind the conspiracy. Maryam receives an anonymous threat.

Octavian
Ali has learned Frida's secret and hides with her in a lonely mountain hut in the Alps, while Leo tries to uncover the conspirators who seem to be sitting in his own ranks. Undeterred by threats against their investigation, Maryam and her boss go public with their plan to file a class-action lawsuit over the bridge disaster, which puts them in the sights of a hitherto unknown enemy.
