The Aftermath

The Homecoming
The Carringtons, still in Moldavia, finally manage to sort out the terrorist attack that followed Amanda's wedding. Luke (Steven's friend) is one of the victims and Adam boldly forbids Claudia from comforting her estranged husband. While Blake negotiates a release, over Dex's objections, the new season storyline takes shape as the nefarious Sammy Jo (Heather Locklear) meets up with conniving movie director (George Hamilton) who zeroes in on her and Krystle as his meal-ticket of the future.

The Californians
The plot thickens as Blake receives a crooked offer on an oil project from business rival Jason Colby; Jason's sister Constance plots for her nephew Jeff Colby; Alexis searches for King Galen; and Joel Abrigore attempts to transform Rita into Krystle. Charlton Heston and Barbara Stanwyck make notable debuts as the nefarious Colbys.

Shōgun
Shōgun, set in feudal Japan, charts the collision of two ambitious men from different worlds and a mysterious female samurai: John Blackthorne, a risk-taking English sailor who ends up shipwrecked in Japan, a land whose unfamiliar culture will ultimately redefine him; Lord Toranaga, a shrewd, powerful daimyo, at odds with his own dangerous, political rivals; and Lady Mariko, a woman with invaluable skills but dishonorable family ties, who must prove her value and allegiance.
