Paula y Lucas están muy preocupados por Evelyn. Durante la noche se ha levantado y se ha puesto a merodear por los pasillos del colegio, e incluso ha chillado a Paula cuando ésta intentaba que volviese a la cama, pero ahora dice que no recuerda nada. Miguel les explica la razón de ese extraño comportamiento: Evelyn está poseída y la única solución a su problema es hacerle un exorcismo. A Paula le encantaría consultarlo con Jacinta, pero la gobernanta está muy lejos de allí, siendo juzgada por asesinato. Marcos ve una y otra vez las imágenes grabadas en el USB que le dio la psicóloga, en las que su madre recuerda fragmentos de su infancia, aquellos años en los que todavía se llamaba Irene Espí y vivía en un orfanato. Todo indica que ella misma se dio cuenta de que recordar y remover el pasado podía ser peligroso, y por eso se aseguró de que las grabaciones llegasen a manos de Marcos si a ella le sucedía algo. Pedro sabe perfectamente lo que vio en el bosque: Noiret al lado de un ataúd, desenterrando un cadáver. Aunque Elsa no le cree, Pedro la convence para que le acompañe hasta el lugar donde lo vio todo. Pero el bosque aún guarda nuevas y desagradables sorpresas...
