Jacinta y Héctor están conmocionados por la grabación que han visto, en la que Noiret habla del Proyecto Géminis. Jacinta recuerda que a cuatro niñas del viejo orfanato les tatuaron precisamente el símbolo de géminis. Simularon sus muertes para poder darlas en adopción sin dejar rastro. Una de ellas era Irene Espí.
La policía investiga el accidente en el que supuestamente se ahogó el pequeño Samuel, interrogando a todos los que estuvieron por la laguna aquel día. Fernando, que vio a Fermín por la zona minutos antes del accidente, sospecha que el cocinero tiene algo que ocultar.
Un murciélago se ha colado en la habitación de las pequeñas y Evelyn está convencida de que es un vampiro. Justo cuando el animal desaparece, llega a la habitación Camilo, alertado por los gritos de las niñas y rápidamente Evelyn hace sus propias deducciones: el murciélago se ha transformado en Camilo.
