E.N.G. (Electronic News Gathering) is a show that deals with the personal lives of a group of newscasters in a newsroom at a fictitious Toronto news station. Ann Hildebrandt is the executive producer of the news at station CTLS-TV 10. She is having a secret affair with Jake Antonelli, the young hotshot cameraman. Her world is rocked with the arrival of Mike Fennell, the new News Director who has an eye for ratings. Their opinions clash, but they only have the best interests of the station and their workers in mind.
