Guillermo tries to approach Custodio, but he rejects him with contempt. but at night, and without saying a word, he throws himself into Guillermo's arms. Manuel goes to Madrid in search of a lawyer and a job in case he loses the farm. He reminds Maria that he must continue paying her debt. Luisa arrives to visit and her actress airs revolutionize the town. Claudia, without evidence, loses her suit as heir and decides to leave.
