Britain's challenge will be led by former Burghley winner William Fox-Pitt, with Oliver Townend, Pippa Funnell and Nicola Wilson also competing. Burghley is always a fascinating spectacle but in 2015 it also provides a chance to gauge the form of Britain's elite riders ahead of the European Championships, which take place in Scotland in September.
