Ryan shows up from Wichita, Kansas and surprises his brother Brent by coming to see him at Who's Who where he and a bunch of starving wannabes meet for an acting class taught by Who's Who owner David. Brent takes Ryan to his apartment where he quickly ditches him knowing he is late on rent. Hours later Ryan comes to find out the truth about his brother. Not only did Brent take his money he sent weeks before for rent for the apartment but Brent is also a drug user. Because the apartment is behind on rent and Ryan can't seem to find Brent anywhere the landlord kicks him out leaving him homeless with nothing. Another perk of being friends with owner David at Who's Who is that they get the chance to perform in front of an actual audience. Suzanne is the one performing and a famous singer named Owen Black finds her quiet interesting. He later asks her if she would mind sharing her music with him and even sing with him on his album.
