Familie - Season 1

Season 1
Meet the several members of the Van den Bossche family in the very first season of Belgiums longest running primetime soap. Anna Dierckx is the widow of Pierre Van den Bossche and the overprotective mother of four adult children. Guido is the oldest child and the most succesful. He is the CEO of VDB Electronics, his own computer company and the husband of rich and spoiled housewife Marie-Rose. Their son Peter enjoys life to the fullest and often goes toe to toe with his family. Daughter Veronique on the other hand has to deal with the loss of her boyfriend and an unexpected pregnancy.
Rita is the second child and often the black sheep of the family. Her husband left after the death of their son Paul and she decided to raise her second son Pierrot as a single mother after a onenightstand with Dirk Demesmaeker. Pierrot ends up in the hospital with the same illness that killed patriarch Pierre.
Another problematic child is Anna's second son Jan. With his little income, he can hardly support his own family - wife Monique and children Bart and Mieke. When he gets fired from his job, Guido welcomes him to VDB Electronics as the new HR manager. Jan soon falls in love with beautiful secretary Babette, risking his marriage for a young girl who just wants to climb the ladder in the company.
Marleen is the youngest daughter and never even met her father because she was born after his death. Still living with her mother, the eightteen year old girl is ready to spread her wings and start her life.
