Four in a Bed - Season 29

Season 29

Episodes

The Inn Castledawson
The only show on TV where a stray hair in the bedsheets could cause World War Three is back for a new run. The competition begins in County Derry-Londonderry, where friends Ciaran and Lorraine host at The Inn Castledawson. The tranquil river views go down a storm, as does an afternoon boat trip. But a sound sleep evades some of the B&Bers.

Drumrush B&B
The new run continues. Married couple Des and Mandy host the week's second visit, at their Drumrush B&B in County Fermanagh. The B&Bers embrace some inner peace with the stunning views and an afternoon of Pilates. But a barrage of blunders blights breakfast, leaving Des and Mandy's chances in the competition hanging by a thread.

Ballylough House
The new run continues. Visit three of the week is to County Antrim, where June and Stevie host at Ballylough House. The cleanliness standards immediately get a dusting down, but spirits are stoked by a visit to the world-famous Bushmills whiskey distillery. June and Stevie share some ghost stories over drinks in the evening, but find themselves spooked by some low scores in the feedback.

The Wylies B&B
The new run continues. Neil and Rush host the week's final visit, at The Wylies B&B in Lisburn. The B&Bers feel pampered by the sleek, luxurious interiors and superb spa facilities, and the hosts even offer their guests a pillow menu to ensure they have a great night's sleep. But breakfast is less opulent, with cold eggs proving to be a real turn-oeuf.

Payment Day
The new run continues. Payment day looms for the B&Bers, as they finally find out what they've been paid and who's won. But not before they've bickered about breakfasts, scolded each other's scores and clashed over cleanliness, obviously.

38 St Giles
The new run continues. Dad and daughter Dennis and Holly kick off the competition in Norwich, hosting at their award-winning boutique B&B, 38 St Giles. The B&Bers enjoy a historic afternoon at the city's cathedral, before discovering over drinks that a number of their establishments have a similar vibe. Breakfast is a roaring success for all - apart from one, who isn't full of beans about a lack of his favourite ingredient.

The Royal Oak
The new run continues. Harry and Sarah hope to wow their guests with their recently renovated pub The Royal Oak in Hawkhurst, Kent. Unfortunately, the style doesn't match one B&Ber's standards. After a fer-mental afternoon on the beers at a microbrewery, moods are high. Until some pernickety furniture feedback brings Harry and Sarah back down to earth with a bump.

The Fox & Goat
The new run continues. The B&Bers head to Tiddington in Oxfordshire for the week's third visit, where Dawn hosts at her country pub, The Fox & Goat. The facilities seem to be flawless, leaving one guest determined to find some faulty furniture. There's another historic afternoon out, this time with a tour around Blenheim Palace. All that walking should have the B&Bers knackered and ready for bed - so why does one of them have such a restless night?

No 64 at the Joiners
The new run continues. The final visit of the week is to No 64 at the Joiners in West Malling, Kent. Host Ollie hopes that his French-styled B&B will have that je ne sais quoi to win the competition. The guests monkey around at a zoo in the afternoon, before things get heated in the kitchen the next morning - and the heat rises even further when Ollie sees his breakfast scores...

Payment Day
The new run continues. It's payment day, and after a battle of the boutique B&Bs all week, the boutique B&Bers meet up one final time to find out which boutique B&B is the best boutique B&B.

Harboro Hotel
The new run continues. Liam and Patrycja kick off this week's competition at their Harboro Hotel in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. During an afternoon pie making class, the guests get a taste of each other as first impressions are formed - and two B&Bers intrigue everyone when they reveal their hospitality inexperience.

The Nest Hotel
The new run continues. At The Nest Hotel in Hampshire, father and daughter Shane and Emily hope to dazzle with the décor. An afternoon spent at an ancient farm descends into mudslinging - literally. And the hosts end up feeling that they've been done dirty at feedback time.

The Queen's Head Inn
The new run continues. Visit three this week is to The Queen's Head Inn in Northamptonshire, where B&B novices Simon and Harriet think their old-school village pub will be a hit. But the bacon gets a bashing at breakfast.

Worlington Hall
The new run continues. At Worlington Hall in Suffolk, married couple Louis and Michael lay on luxurious interiors and take their guests for a mill around a mill. Breakfast is an opulent affair and the B&Bers are left hailing their hosts. But one pair are perturbed by Louis and Michael's lavish approach.

Payment Day
The new run continues. The holiday hosts meet one final time on payment day to clash over cleanliness and spar over sleep scores, before the payments are revealed and we find out who's won.

Blackfriars
The new run continues. This week's competition kicks off at Blackfriars in Inverness, where Dean and his daughter Chelsie reckon the premium location will pay dividends - even though their guests all baulk at the prices right from the off. There's a wealth of attention to detail during an afternoon of crafting, but two B&Bers note that that quality is severely lacking in their room, which leads to some very strong words from Dean at feedback time.

Bogenraith House
The new run continues. Singer Marilyn and her mum Agnes host the week's second visit at Bogenraith House in Aberdeenshire, where they're hoping to hit the high notes. But Dean and Chelsie are still smarting from their own feedback and aren't in a forgiving mood about the cleanliness.

Cairngorms Glamping
The new run continues. Pamela's hoping that Cairngorms Glamping's picturesque setting in Aberdeenshire will impress her guests. And while most of the B&Bers are tickled pink by the pods, one pair aren't happy campers. Can Pamela win them over with an invigorating afternoon of Highland Games?

The Lovat Hotel
The new run continues. The final visit of the week is to The Lovat Hotel in Perth. Sharmin and Sarah are used to tackling big jobs at their expansive 35-room hotel, but one of their guests finds fault with the facilities. Tension between the B&Bers mounts during a visit to a museum, and the breakfast setup confuses everyone and leaves Sharmin and Sarah with some difficult-to-swallow scores in their feedback.

Payment Day
The new run continues. It's a feisty old payment day after a week packed to the gills with gripes. You could cut the tension with a knife! Fortunately, we haven't given any of them knives.

35 Main Street
The new run continues. Father-and-daughter team Steve and Elise host the week's first visit, at 35 Main Street in Pembrokeshire. They're relative rookies in the B&B biz, but they're hoping no one will notice that after a visit to a local brewery. And with 'the best chef in Pembrokeshire' in their kitchen, they reckon they'll be cantering to victory.

Chillderness
The new run continues. For the week's second visit, Anjana and David are aiming to get their guests to branch out at Chillderness, their unique off-grid accommodation in Powys, complete with tree-top accommodation. Alas, the outdoor toilets mean some of the B&Bers are far from keen to lay down roots. And although everyone has a hoot on a trip to meet some birds of prey, the self-catering breakfast leads to some unsavoury feedback.

Redberth Gardens
The new run continues. At Redberth Gardens in Tenby, hosts Carys and Rhys get off to a flyer thanks to the facilities at their glampsite, which include hot tubs, cinema screens and outdoor table football. But tensions soon emerge during a trip to the zoo, as two B&Bers can't help but revisit past comments.

Bae Abermaw B&B
The new run continues. The final visit of the week is to Barmouth in Gwynedd, at Tanya and Gary's Bae Abermaw B&B. They're hoping their incredible views will put them in sight of the winner's plaque - but it's the vista looking into the room rather than out that doesn't delight one set of guests. Can an impressive display at breakfast turn things around?

Payment Day
The new run continues. After a wonderful week in Wales, the B&Bers meet up once more to debate their differences and find out who's won. But will some lingering vendettas spoil the party?

Newquay Beach Hotel
The new run continues. This week's competition begins at Newquay Beach Hotel in - you guessed it - Newquay, where Oleg and Emma are banking on the amazing sea views setting them apart. The B&Bers make a splash with an afternoon of surfing, before one of them makes a revelation that leaves another set of hosts unsure about their chances.

Devon Heaven Hideaways
The new run continues. Mum and daughter Mandy and Elly host the week's second visit at Devon Heaven Hideaways, where they offer a touch of bliss at their plush glampsite. First impressions are excellent, everyone enjoys a trip to a castle, and a riverside breakfast is a roaring success. So why do the hosts end up shocked by their scores?

Tin Can Retreat
The new run continues. For visit three of the week, the B&Bers head to Ceredigion, where married couple Stuart and Amy offer a great big slice of vintage Americana at their Tin Can Retreat. Stuart and Amy get everyone revved up with an afternoon of electric biking, but are left eating dust after some cleanliness complaints in their feedback.

The Thorverton Arms
The new run continues. Steve and Mandy host the week's final visit at The Thorverton Arms in Devon. Their classic country pub seems to put a smile on everyone's faces - until things get hairy for one pair. Can a belly-busting breakfast swing things back in the hosts' favour?

Payment Day
The new run continues. Payment day brings with it a chance to debate that most sacrilegious of all B&B faux pas - a short and curly in the bedsheets.

The Fox and Hounds
The new run continues. This week's competition kicks off in Dorset, where hosts Philip and Jimmy hope to serve up a stay for the ages at their 17th-century country inn, the Fox and Hounds. Unfortunately for them, their fellow B&Bers instantly hunt down some problems in the form of creased bedding and unwrapped biscuits... Will a ramble in the local countryside help Philip and Jimmy walk back into contention?

Milberry Green Meadows
The new run continues. Matthew and Moira host the week's second visit at their Milberry Green Meadows glampsite in Surrey. Despite some excellent first impressions, the great outdoors soon leave one pair longing for the great indoors. And then the breakfast hamper hacks somebody off.

The Lord Bute
The new run continues. The B&Bers head to The Lord Bute in Dorset for the week's third visit, where former Mayfair chef Bradley and his right-hand man Ryan hope their guests will agree that their offering deserves five stars. But following Bradley's eggstravagant eggspressions of his eggstensive culinary eggsperience throughout the week, everyone's eggspecting an eggsceptional breakfast. So the hosts aren't eggsactly thrilled when one eggsasperated guest returns his... eggs.

The Pocklington
The new run continues. The last visit this week is to The Pocklington in the heart of Leicester, hosted by mum and son Prity and Kyle. The B&Bers' arrival doesn't exactly go smoothly though, with parking problems putting the brakes on Prity and Kyle's chances. At least they've got a plan to take their guests' minds off their vehicular vexation - an afternoon of driving...

Payment Day
The new run continues. Cleanliness has been top of the agenda for most of this week's competition. So the B&Bers will be keen to give each other a good dusting down on payment day.

Lodge Duxford
The new run continues. The competition begins at Lodge Duxford in Cambridgeshire, where hosts Lucy and Craig hope their boutique hotel will tick all the boxes. A trip to see some vintage RAF planes sends group relations soaring. But Lucy and Craig's chances in the competition aren't flying so high when two of their guests give the cleanliness a dusting down.

Emerald Stays
The new run continues. Jo and Annabel welcome the B&Bers to their modern aparthotel Emerald Stays in Stratford-upon-Avon, where the guests ponder whether to use or not to use the self-catering facilities. After some Shakespearean dress-up in the afternoon, two guests compare their night's sleep to 'kipping in a rave', leaving the hosts with a tragedy at feedback time.

The Barn
The new run continues. Karen and Adrian stake a claim for being the busiest B&Bers in Four in a Bed history at The Barn in North Yorkshire - a B&B, village shop and post office all rolled into one. But one guest reckons that such a big to-do list means the hosts haven't paid enough attention to his poached eggs at breakfast.

Dilham Hall Retreats
The new run continues. The week's final visit is to Dilham Hall Retreats in Norfolk, hosted by farming couple Louise and Luke. Their riverside pods take everyone's breath away, and a boat ride on the Norfolk Broads leaves them all feeling calm and serene - until attention turns to the looming drama of payment day.

Payment Day
The new run continues. It's been a week of tired eyes and undesired flies. Who will overcome their setbacks and emerge victorious on payment day?
