Friday Night, Part 1
Clara Amfo, Lauren Laverne, Jack Saunders and Jo Whiley are live at Glastonbury Festival as it really gets underway on the first full day of music.
They introduce performances from across the site, including at the West Holts stage for legendary girl group Sugababes, who, in 2022, shut down the Avalon field with one of their first reunion shows; pop star Anne-Marie, who takes on the Other Stage a year on from the release of her album Unhealthy which included a collaboration with Shania Twain; and, at the Pyramid Stage, hits from the expansive back catalogue of Paul Heaton, who performs solo at the festival for the first time.
Also, they chat to some special guests and have a unique intimate performance in the BBC Park studio reflecting the wider festival line-up.
