Episodio 1
Marco Merani, wizard of marine engines, has a wife and daughter he loves and a job he adores. When one of his best customers is murdered, he discovers that the rafts he made for him were used to transport drugs. A few days later two men show up at his construction site asking him to continue with that job.

Episodio 2
Marco, thanks to the trust that Aurelio shows him, accepts the invitation of his policeman friend and becomes the first civilian infiltrator in history. The thousand lies and the many displacements he is forced to do create a growing tension with his wife, his father and his family. Furthermore, Aurelio's attitude, who treats him almost like a brother, makes Inspector Vexina suspicious.

Episodio 3
Marco, forced by Aurelio to leave for South America, meets the boss's family and his fellow traffickers. The man would like to end that story, but Mario convinces him to accept one last job: preparing a boat for a special delivery. Aurelio, at the last moment, asks that Marco be the one to drive the boat. Marco hesitates but the Italian police guarantee him protection.

Episodio 4
Marco is sentenced to eight months in prison. While sharing his cell with Pablo he tries to get in touch with the Italian police to no avail. When he realizes that if he is found to be an infiltrator he and his family would be finished, he silently accepts the sentence.

Episodio 5
It's Christmas and Aurelio goes to visit Marco, bringing him an expensive watch as a gift. The mechanic chases him away rudely, but Aurelio warns him: he will not be able to get rid of him. The Italian police push him to continue the mission but Marco, who now can only count on his daughter, refuses.

Episodio 6
Captured, Marco manages to tell Aurelio who grants him his forgiveness and takes him to meet his wife and son who live hidden in a small island off the coast of Spain. Aurelio asks him to accompany him on a new load. The last one which will allow both of them to withdraw. Marco accepts. While love explodes with Alessia, the mechanic prepares a boat capable of facing the ocean.

Episodio 7
Madeira. Bad weather delays the operation and increases Marco's anxiety and tension which explodes when he discovers that his father is on the verge of death and he cannot return. The day of departure arrives. Marco receives the coordinates to reach Aurelio in the open ocean. The joint operation between Italy and Spain takes immediate action. The ship with four tons of drugs is requisitioned, but Aurelio manages to escape.

Episodio 8
After yet another move to a new location, the crisis between Alessia and Marco explodes. Marco, in order to free the woman and her family from her slavery, drives her away by pretending not to love her anymore. Alone and, now on the verge of madness, he is saved by Alessia who returns for him. Together, they decide to forgo protection.
