With Dave home for his father's memorial, Team Turin makes a promise to hit it big in his honor. But with the Bank Cut running out, Jason must think outside the box to find new ground and keep them on the gold.

Team foreman Jason takes a huge gamble by opening a new cut. But when the team is besieged by mishaps, Dave returns to find the team in disarray and fights to prove the Vault Cut is a risk willing to take.

As the mid-summer Colorado heat bears down on the team, Jesse heads to Montana to salvage parts from the old washplant and Dave struggles to keep the operation together for another major gold haul.

Dave calls in Freddy Dodge and Juan Ibarra to troubleshoot a faulty hopper. With the Vault Cut running low, a local old-timer points Dave to new gold-rich ground the old doodlebug dredge missed.

To help boost production, Dave gives gold room operator Jesse Goins the opportunity he's been waiting for, to become a first-time rock truck driver. But all work stops when the crew faces a sudden and unimaginable tragedy.

After the devastating loss of teammate Jesse Goins, the crew struggles to mine with one man down.  When Dave comes under fire from the team about the lack of access to the gold-rich Hummocks, he heads off for a do or die showdown with the local community.

The team finally gains access to the potential motherlode in the Hummocks. But as soon as the crew begins, Box Creek is hit by a huge snow storm and Jason makes an alarming discovery.

Team Turin racees to smash their 400-ounce season goal in Hummocks gold. But the increasing amounts of heavy black sand, early snow and pressure from the local community threaten to derail their operation.

Dave returns to the Doodlebug Cut in hopes of beating their 400-oz season goal. But when the channel they're mining is lost, Dave tracks down the son of an old-timer who gives him a lead that could send them over the top.

Dave makes a dramatic pitch to return to Lynx Creek for a shot at the team's first-ever million-dollar season. But Casey must find gold fast as Jason is hit with a bombshell that could end their Arizona adventure before it begins.

In Arizona, Dave spots a clue that could be evidence of main channel gold before leaving for to an epic prospect in Alaska. But when Jason decides to move the crew off questionable pay, the pressure is on to hit their weekly target.
