Episode 5

Gordon Ramsay is looking to invest in an up-and-coming food or drink entrepreneur to propel their business to the next level. He has scoured Britain to find the UK's rising stars, who will compete in challenges to win £150,000 of his own cash.

Tonight, Gordon tests how well his contenders can turn humble ingredients into a profit. In the Lake District, he tasks them with collecting pine needles and cones from 40-foot-tall trees to infuse into Michelin-starred millefeuille. Who will attempt the terrifying climb, and will anyone create five-star patisserie and make the grade?

Next, Gordon asks the teams to create bottled sauces in Gateshead. It's a crowded market, so will anyone impress the secret industry greats Gordon has invited to Hawker Market, where the teams will sell their new brands? And will anyone convince Sauce Shop enough to launch their brand as a special edition?

Finally, the contenders come face to face with Gordon to convince him they should stay. Someone has to leave, so who will Gordon send packing?
