В старое бессвязное время, то есть когда люди жили без телефона, телеграфа, телевизора, радио, интернета и факса, они, можно сказать, и не жили. Без телефона им было некуда звякнуть, без радио им было нечего включить, без телевизора – нечего выключить. Единственное, что они умели сделать – это послать без факса. Учёные, которым было нечем щёлкать, не знали, куда девать руки, поэтому всё время пытались чего-нибудь изобрести. Даже революции происходили как-то вяло и неудачно, поскольку нельзя было захватить телеграф и телефон. Такое невыносимое положение продолжалось почти до начала ХХ века, когда учёные наконец изобрели хоть что-то и наладили связь через океан, хотя их и просили не связываться с этой Америкой. И как показывает история, правы были те, кто от изобретения связи ждал революционных перемен. Правда, как показывает та же история, те, кто просил не связываться с Америкой, тоже были правы.
