Canterbury Cathedral
It can be claimed that Canterbury Cathedral is as old as England itself. But the cathedral is now showing its age. Massive chunks of stone are falling from the weather- worn windows of the towers, and the great timbers holding up its iconic Christchurch Gate have literally been eaten away. With unprecedented access, this documentary follows a dedicated team of craftspeople as they work to complete a 5-year, £25million project to restore the cathedral to its former glory.
Edinburgh North Bridge
Edinburgh Bridge arches above Waverley, the second busiest station in the whole of Britain. A technological marvel in its day, the Victorian bridge was built in1897 out of the cutting-edge materials of its time after the old stone bridge fell down.
The team build a Protection Deck: more than 300km of scaffolding cover the whole bridge, encasing it in an exoskeleton of constantly changing steel as the scaffold team abseil down to reconfigure it on a daily basis, reshaping it to fit the needs of the project.
Royal Albert Hall
Since opening in 1851 and hosting to some of the world's most prestigious acts, the historic Royal Albert Hall is now in need of urgent repairs. But the colossal iron and glass dome roof requires a specialist team and the history of the building means restoration must be of the highest order, but also completed in time for its grand reopening in its 150th year.
Southend Pier
Stretching 1.3 miles out into the waters of the Thames Estuary stands the world's longest pier. Built in 1888 to service the Victorian need to escape the noxious London air, Southend Pier has survived fires, a collision which cut it in half, and the constant threat caused by unexploded WW2 ordnance. However, salt water and iron do not mix, and the pier has seen better days. A committed team of specialists is now working hard to prevent it from falling into the sea.
Manchester Town Hall
Manchester Town Hall is a Neo-Gothic masterpiece. Designed by prolific Victorian Architect Alfred Waterhouse, designer of the Natural History Museum in London, the triangular shaped design is one of the most important Grade I Listed buildings in England.
It has played host to Royalty, Lord Mayors, weddings, civic celebrations and is a key stage set for television and film. But after fourteen decades centre stage the building is showing its age and is now in urgent need of repair. In 2018, it closed its doors for six years of restoration and renewal – at a cost of a £330 million. Now a dedicated team are working hard to do this Architectural giant justice.
London Sewers/Tideway
How Joseph Bazalgette's incredible Victorian London sewer system in is getting a 21st century upgrade. Huge machines bore a network of tunnels linking Bazalgette's old sewer network to the Tideway Super-Sewer - a series of gigantic tunnels running for 25 kilometres alongside the River Thames. But while the work progresses, the sewage keeps on coming.

Reacher

While he works to prove his innocence, a deep-seated conspiracy begins to emerge, one that will require Reacher's keen mind and hard-hitting fists to deal with. One thing above all is for sure: They picked the wrong guy to take the fall.
Allegiance
Allegiance follows on identity and belonging, policing and politics, and finding truth within the heart of a flawed justice system. Sabrina Sohal is a star rookie police officer who must grapple with the limits of the justice system as she fights to exonerate her politician father Ajeet Sohal. Sohal serves her diverse hometown of Surrey alongside Vince Brambilla, a veteran training officer who sees her potential but doesn't always agree with her forward-thinking methods. Allegiance is the story of a young woman caught between her allegiance to her flag, to her badge, and to her family.

The Artful Dodger
Set in 1850s Australia, The Artful Dodger explores the adult double life of Charles Dickens' famous prince of thieves, Jack Dawkins aka The Artful Dodger, whose fast pickpocketing fingers have turned into the skilled hands of a surgeon. In the lively colony of Port Victory, Dodger's past returns to haunt him with the arrival of Fagin, luring him back into a world of crime. A greater threat - to Dodger's heart - is Lady Belle, the Governor's daughter, determined to become the colony's first female surgeon.
