A Sweet Meet and Greet
Ten home bakers enter the kitchen and put their spin on a chocolate carousel filled with decadent mini desserts. In the Elimination Challenge, the bakers give a sweet introduction to who they are with a dessert inspired by an item from the Cabinet of Curiosities.
Mad About Choux
The remaining nine home bakers will play with pastry, as they master the art of choux. In the Elimination Challenge, the bakers must keep their cool and serve an epic ice cream sandwich.
Veggies for Dessert
Eight bakers vie for Golden Whisk immunity and seek to make the judges' sweet dreams come true as they delve into the delightful world of candy. In the Elimination Challenge, the home bakers must prove that chocolate and vegetables can go together like two peas in a pod.
A History in the Baking
Sweet safety is on the line for the seven remaining home bakers. Things get saucy in the Technique Test, as the bakers use their noodles to create a delicious, chocolate pasta. In the Elimination Challenge, the bakers take a sweet trip down memory lane and reimagine a dessert from their childhood.
Let's Par-Tea
With sweet safety off the table, the top six bakers must create a scrumptious illusion by mastering a gravity-defying cake. In the Elimination Challenge, the home bakers create desserts using a flavor of tea.
Bakes in Full Bloom
In the Technique Test, the five remaining home bakers do the chocolate truffle shuffle and create a picture-perfect display made entirely out of chocolate. In the Elimination Challenge, the bakers get botanical and must present a dessert bursting with floral flavor.
Haute Chocolate
The final four bakers are in for a big (and small!) surprise as they must master the daunting macaron and its larger cousin the macaronade! With the finale one challenge away, fashion becomes their passion as the bakers look to the runway for their dessert inspiration.
The Finale: Once Upon a Baker…
In this epic season finale, the home bakers take on the most demanding bake of the entire competition - telling their baking story through four delectable dessert chapters. Only one baker will have the happy ending of walking away with the $50,000 grand prize and the title of Great Chocolate Showdown Champion.
