Advice on growing fruit and vegetables, with Alan sharing the tips and tricks he uses on his own plot, with his Love Your Garden team members Katie Rushworth, Frances Tophill and David Domoney joining in from their homes. From seriously stylish ways to grow veg anywhere to practical tips on what to plant and where, they show how to get gardens bursting with fruit, salad, herbs and vegetables to supply the table for the year ahead and beyond.

Episode 2
Alan shows how to grow a summer feast of strawberries, even if the only space available is a doorstep, and family-friendly ways to grow delicious vegetables. His Love Your Garden team members Katie Rushworth, Frances Tophill and David Domoney join in from their homes with clever hacks and tips to get viewers making the most out of their gardens, window boxes or windowsills.

Episode 3
Filmed by his wife Alison, Alan shares the secrets to creating a picture-perfect lettuce patch, even when space is tight, and there are tips and advice from the rest of the Love Your Garden team from their own gardens across the country. Frances Tophill adds flowers with pest-fighting power to her tiny vegetable plot, Katie Rushworth shows how to construct a vertical garden that will suit any budget and David Domoney looks ahead to autumn and demonstrates how to make a sweetcorn and pumpkin patch.

Episode 4
Alan harvests the first of the radishes he planted as seeds in the first edition of the programme and steps inside his greenhouse to grow an exotic treat or two. Frances Tophillgives a seed-to- plate guide to growing chillies, David Domoney grows barbecue favourites and Katie Rushworth gets healthy with her pick of the best super-foods to grow in even the tiniest of spaces.

Episode 5
In this penultimate episode - filmed by his wife Alison - Alan creates a cutting garden in the veg plot, with flowers to pick for the home from summer until the first frost. Frances Tophillmoves ever closer to finishing the makeover of her tiny plot in Folkestone, while Katie Rushworth stays indoors to grow soil-free herbs in a beginners' guide to hydroponics. In the Midlands, David Domoney constructs a homemade cold-frame to grow some exotic family favourites - sweet potatoes and aubergines.

Episode 6
Alan and the team reveal their individual garden makeovers, and Alan adds a final border of bee-attracting flowers to keep his vegetable patch pollinated. Frances Tophill's garden transformation is revealed - from tiny bare backyard to cosy kitchen-garden sanctuary. She completes it with a final addition of veg-filled hanging baskets and soil-conditioning climbers. In Yorkshire, Katie Rushworth reviews the six new mini veg gardens she's added, and finishes with one final one to complete her front garden.
